Heather McKeon is the executive assistant for Chairman McKeon and manages the schedule for the entire McKeon Group team. Her organizational and leadership skills have proven to be necessary in order to address client’s needs in a timely manner.
Heather graduated from Brigham Young University in 1990 with a bachelor’s degree in Health Education. Upon graduating, Heather worked for Novell for two years before moving to Southern California to pursue a career in teaching.
Heather worked as a junior high school instructor for the William S. Hart District teaching health and science courses. After she had her first child, Heather stayed home to raise her family and manage the household.
In 2012, Heather took an accounting position with Cota Cole LLP, a law firm headquartered in Roseville, California. She was responsible for billing and keeping record of the firm’s financial transactions. Just before she accepted her current position with McKeon Group, Heather was recruited to be a contributing writer for an online marketing agency. During her three years as a writer, Heather’s responsibilities included research and content production for a number of the agency’s clients.
Heather, originally from Utah, relocated to Washington DC with her husband, Howard. Together they’ve raised four children. She is an avid runner and has completed a number of half and full marathons.
