Preston Feinberg joins the firm as a Director working with a number of McKeon Group clients. Having worked in various capacities on Capitol Hill, Preston adds his knowledge of advocacy processes to the well-rounded and experienced McKeon Group team.
Preston was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM. After leaving New Mexico, he attended the University of South Carolina where he majored in political science with a focus on Islamic and Middle East studies. After graduating from college, he immediately moved to Washington, DC knowing that he could pursue his passion to work on defense and national security issues.
His first internship was with Senator Tom Udall’s (NM) Senate Office, where he was first introduced to the dynamics of Capitol Hill. After finishing his internship with his home state’s Senator, he got an internship with the Bipartisan Policy Center’s National Security Project, where he worked on Turkish affairs and took part in the analysis of the Iranian nuclear negotiations. After finishing the program at the Bipartisan Policy Center, he joined the Office of Congressman Adam Smith from Washington state who is the current Ranking Member on the House Armed Services Committee. Most recently, prior to joining the McKeon Group, he was a staffer at Williams & Jensen, PLLC working on the Financial Services and tax team.
