Reno Mahe joins the McKeon Group from Lehi, Utah. He brings with him contagious enthusiasm, a knack for creative problem solving and a genuine love for all people. His charisma and positive energy make him an asset to any team.
Reno has spent most of his life learning and leading as a member of a team. He played collegiate football for Brigham Young University where he earned his degree in sociology. Following his collegiate career, he spent the next five seasons from 2003-2007 playing in the NFL for the Philadelphia Eagles. He enjoyed success there as the Eagles reached the Super Bowl in 2004 and he was also named All-Pro as a punt returner in 2005. He was also elected by his teammates as one of the two player representatives for the NFL Players Association.
In 2008 Reno retired from the NFL just in time to join the rest of the nation for the housing bubble burst. He rode out the recession by relying on education he gained through completing both the Stanford Graduate School of Business executive program as well as the Harvard University business executive program. But his most effective education has come from life experience.
Reno returned to his alma mater, Brigham Young University, as an assistant football coach in 2016. Although he enjoyed the two years he spent there, his real passion lies in the business sector, solving real problems and effectively impacting positive change.
Reno and his wife, Sunny, have 8 children (Jeffery, Evie, Ellie, Trey, Emmie, Tank, Elsie, and Steel). Their daughter Elsie passed away at three years old in the fall of 2016. They have set up a foundation in her honor, the Miracles From Elsie Foundation, LLC, which provides financial assistance to families in medical crisis, provides grief counseling for families who have lost a child, and brings awareness to organ donation.
